  1. Last night I saw Clinton's speech at the DNC. It was amazing I absolutely fell in love with his words. He had a strong tone in his voice. It's the voice that the president should have. I almost felt that he should run for President again! Clinton 2016! He was in pretty good shape as well. He has gone past the fast-food stage in his life. He even added humor into his speech. "Heck, he even appointed Hillary." I felt like Obama choice of picking Clinton to speak at the DNC was a great choice. It provided a nostalgic voice to the people of the United States.

In our opinion we think that Barack Obama have a good idea. People should have the same right has other people it doesn't matter if they are poor or rich. However poor people need more help than rich people. The government should help people that doesn't have money to pay the hospital, or other things like for school. college and university.

We said that we are kind of agree but kind of disagree. We are agree because when you buy something you can buy it safety. But we are not agree because they charge you too much interests. It's not fair that all the rich people does not pay high taxes and that they do not nothing about this because they have money in order to pay whatever they want.

  9. I watched the video of James Rogers simple speech. I think that it's great that he cares about the environment.I felt like he was aiming to get to the hearts of the younger generation since he talked about having our grandchildren be proud of us in the future.I believe that it's a good strategy since I've been told that teenagers are the future.

  10. I thought that the speeches were very effective. I actually got to see Michelle Obama's speech on TV and thought it was very powerful. I like how she talked about how when she first met Barack Obama he was a simple man with an old suit. I think that helped people relate to him a little more. She also talked about how her parents and his parents didn't have enough money to pay for their college education. About how they did their best to pay on time and how Barack Obama wants all the young people to be able to go to college too. Michelle's speech was very effective at making Barack sound like a good man.

  11. I chose to read and watch president Obama's speech. I found what he said about DREAMERS very inspiring . It was a confirmation that he wants to do something about the students that were brought here by their parents and what the opportunity to get educated and contribute to this country. He said,"You're the reason a young immigrant who grew up here and went to school here and pledged allegiance to our flag will no longer be deported from the only country she's ever called home — " he refers to deffered action he passed the 15th of june.

  12. Bill Clinton spoke at the Democratic National Convention, and gave a very effective speech. His goal was to make people want to vote for Obama in November. He was very convincing about why Obama would be the best president for this country over the next 4 years. He talked a lot about what Obama has already done, and how and why he would continue to help this country. He also said why Obama would make the education and economy better than Romney could of plans to. Someone at the convention said that Clinton "spoke beyond the base to independent, persuadable, moderate America." He believes that this speech was very effective in convincing the population of this country to vote for the democratic candidate. Many people, including most of the people at the convention, were moved by the speech and saw why Obama would be an incredible president for this country. Overall, Clinton gave a very convincing speech for Obama at the Democratic National Convention last week. He demonstrated to the population what a great president Obama was, and could be during the next four years.

  13. Jason Crow stated that he is a veteran of the United States. He mentioned that Barack Obama did in fact keep his promise to America. Men and women were judged by people based on their orientation. He said that people were discriminated by their color of race. Romney never mentioned Veteran's family in his speeches. But Bsrack Obama does care about his people. Obama is always considering the people and the veterans of America.

  14. After watching Clintons speech, I realized that I strongly disagree with him in saying that we are all self made. We are not all self made because not everybody gets the same opportunities and/or privileges. Some who have less money are not able to be what they desire because they do not get the same privileges as the wealthy in school. However I do agree with him saying that we are all in this together because we are. We are all on this earth and need to help out each other if we want to survive.

  15. After watching Bill Clinton deliver his speech at the DNC, he has brought forward the points of Obamas efforts to bring up our economy, Obamas health plan, and how Romneys plan seeks to benefit those with higher incomes. It's fact that in the past 4 years of President Obamas presidency, our economy has produced 4.5 million sector jobs along with manufacturing jobs increasing.Tax cuts will go up for middle class families with Romney's plan according to Clinton. For those making $3 billion and up, they will be seeing their taxes going down. With that programs will be cut back, research, and it will become more difficult for a kid to receive loans. As for his health plan, it seems Obama is interested in allowing for medicaid and medical to be available to those who need it. For this reason, i will for for Obama.

I watched Clinton’s speech and I agree with him. What drew my eye specially was when he talked about how the Democratic Party is more powerful and more successful. For example, "out of 52 years, 24 years democratic, and 28 years of republican in the election yet, 42 million out of private economics for democrats and only 24 million for the republican." By him stating these facts helped me realize how even though we had less years in election, it doesn’t matter how many years, it’s what you do to achieve within those years.

  18. I feel that what Obama had to say was extremely thoughtful and touching. Through his words, you can feel his pride and love for the USA. He believes that we can create a better society and nation, and he truly wants us to overcome any obstacles that the people face. Making a difference for the better is his vision, and although he knows that it would be a difficult process, he's ready to commit to a brighter future.

  19. Obama's speech for the unity in America profoundly speaks to me. His interest and determination to see of it that we as a Country prevail and push foward, encourages me to strengthen my ideology that America will not reach its full potential if we don't learn to work together. Regardless if you are black, white, asian, white, or any other race we all have the inner intelligence to see that united we can achieve so much greatness. In a world where no one is discriminated, bullied, or brought down and a world where everyone pursues education, health and the well fare of the country America will PREVAIL!

  20. I watched most of Michelle Obama's speech on TV, but I just watched it again. She is a truly talented speaker. It's really interesting to hear her speak because I've never heard her make a speech before. I liked hearing her talk about her family and how she grew up. I think that helps people to see her as a real, normal person instead of this idealized, perfect woman with a perfect family. I liked that she talked about how it's more important to work hard than make a lot of money and that helping others means more than just getting yourself ahead. I think she has some really good ideas and beliefs, and it's nice to hear her get a chance to speak publicly.

  21. After listening to Obama's speech I realized that his thoughts and plans for this country are exactly what this country needs to succeed and be prosperous like it always has been. The part of his speech that truly touched me as a person was that even though you may not know someone and they are suffering over things like not being able to buy their medicines due to lack of health insurance it truly hurts the whole country. I also agree that there is no "Black,Latino,White,Asian America" but the United States of America and we all need to work together to help this country strive forward and and be prosperous.

  22. After watching Obama's speech i realized that Obama really believes that this country can move forward. One of the most important things I observed was that he was still going to support the dream act. That opens a lot of doors and gives a whole bunch opportunities for undocumented people. GO OBAMA[:!!!!!

  23. I just finished watching Alejandra Salinas speech. She is a young LBGQ Latina and she was so confident during her speech that I believed her. She is for Obama and did a good job representing him. I like how she was aiming her speech towards the young people of this country. I don't see a lot of people trying to do that and it's refreshing to see someone do that. It would be cool to see her as president one day.

  24. After watching Arne Duncan's speech I realized that I agree with him more than I thought. He states how Obama is here to help our education and not only the students but also our wonderful teachers. In his speech he also states that Romney will cut down our education, because of this I say GO OBAMA!!! We need our education if we want to grow up and be sucseful!
